昨年夏の収穫以降防草シートで

雑草が生えるのを防いでいた

家庭菜園の作業を始めました。

今年の植え付けは「きたあかり」。

「キタアカリ」は、「男爵薯（だんしゃくいも）」と「ツニカ」を交配して育成したじゃがいもです。旧北海道農業試験場が開発し、1988年（昭和63年）に品種登録されました。

いもの形は扁球形で、皮が白黄色でやや粗く、目の深さは中程度。果肉は黄色く、粉質でホクホクとした食感です。煮崩れしやすい性質なので煮物には適さず、サラダや蒸しいも、粉ふきいもなどに向いています。また、加熱すると舌触りがよく甘味も感じられます。

1袋入れました。
